In the sixth roundtable, the group discusses the challenges and opportunities the UK public and higher education sectors have faced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, which will form the foundation for future growth. Focusing on digital technology, they explore the new opportunities that have risen from the public and private sectors working closer than ever on new projects, from delivering medicine via drones to helping hospitality businesses trade online.
Our team has created lots of new projects from the challenge of COVID itself. For example, we're using drones to deliver medicines to rural areas. For the first time ever, we've got a really clear use case of why we would want to use a drone, and now we’re starting to build a business model around this to explore the concept with other sectors.
